Using the plugin_customization.ini to define eclipse client default settings

When creating a client package for automatic rollout, you can use the plugin_customization.ini to specify many default settings and customize the clients.
The plugin_customization.ini can be found in the “deploy” subdirectory of the client installer package.

Some examples, which might be helpful to set the most common options for new or upgraded clients:

com.ibm.rcp.ui/DOCKED_LAUNCHER=1
 --> dock the open list by default
com.ibm.rcp.ui.browser.launcher/USE_EMBEDDED_BROWSER=false
 --> disable embedded browser
com.ibm.rcp.personality.framework/RESTORE_TABS=true
 --> restore last opened tabs
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.community/name=Sametime
 --> specify Sametime community name
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.community/host=sametime.acme.com
 --> specify Sametime hostname
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.community/loginAtStartup=true
 --> enable Sametime login at client startup
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.login/autologin=true
 --> automatic login
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.community/savePassword=true
 --> save password
com.ibm.rcp.toolbox.admin/toolboxCatalogDBName=widgetcatalog.nsf
 --> define widget catalog
com.ibm.rcp.toolbox.admin/toolboxCatalogServer=DOMINOSERVER/ACME
