Apple + IBM = {insert your wish}


Project Hawthorne will enable us to use Outlook as a mail client for Domino servers, but I don’t like this client…

Number one on my wish list for possible outcomes of this Apple/IBM partnership would be this:

    Mail.Next will be web only…so it’ll run anyway on Mac. 😉

      Yes, I know 😉
      Webmail interfaces like iNotes and Mail.Next are nice and useful, but for power users always only a temporary choice.
      I’m not sure if browser only is the right strategy… I would prefer a stand alone, modern mail client or a nice integration into the existing clients out there.
      But that is only a wish 🙂

    It shouldn’t be technically impossible to get auto-configuration of mail+contacts+calendars working for OS X. Domino would just need to support a couple extra protocols.
